Ty-Shon Alexander, Oak Hill graduate, and Creighton alumni dialed into the Pearl Reports to speak on his college experience and NBA ambitions. During his time at Creighton University, Ty-Shon was named 3rd team All-American, Defensive first-team in the Big East, and shot 40% from the 3 point line. Head Coach Greg McDermott called Alexander the best two way guard in the Big East. After three exemplary years at Creighton, Ty-Shon has decided to declare for the NBA draft, and if you check his statistics, you can see why; He led Creighton with 16.9 points and 1.3 steals per game while also contributing 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Along with his other accomplishments, Ty-Shon’s resume is extremely impressive and grants him much success in the NBA draft. During his interview on the Pearl Reports Alexander also credits his travel ball coach (Team Charlotte) and former NBA pro, Jeff McInnis, for being a mentor and getting him prepared through various levels of professional workouts.
