In part one of this two part series our special guest spotlight this week on the Pearl Reports is Mecklenburg County great Maseo Bolin.

Maseo Bolin has the distinct honor of being inducted in his high school (West Meck) and college (NC A&T State University) Hall of Fame.

Maseo is currently employed as a Regional Business Manager in the pharmaceutical industry.

Special Awards

·         Inducted into the NC A&TSU Sports Hall of Fame in 2016 for Football

·         Inducted into West Meck Hall of Fame in 2016

·         Attended West Mecklenburg from 1987-1991

·         Career h.s. football record was 35-11 in 4 years.  Playoffs all 4 years in football

·         Tri County 4A Champs in Basketball in 1991

·         2 MEAC Championships in 91 and 92 and team was ranked #5 Nationally in 1993

·         Held numerous passing records that stood for over 23 years at A&T

·         Head Coach and Vice President of the Charlotte Nets AAU Basketball program for 20 years
